We pride ourselves in being a comprehensive engineered solutions provider. We offer an end to end service from concept and problem identification through to final product or delivered solution.
Design
We have been designing, project managing and providing solutions since 2011. With industry experience that dates back over 20 years we have in-depth knowledge of product and machinery design.
Utilising Solidworks 3D cad design this allows us to drive our ethos, designing and creating products that exceed expectation. Our ISO certification aligns with this and guides us to provide a comprehensive and inclusive concept creation process.
Engineering Solutions
Black Hills Products are a comprehensive engineered solutions provider, working primarily in the utilities, automotive and energy sectors. We use a variety of tools including, in-house design and fabrication complimented with quality controlled supplier lists.
We offer an end to end service from concept and problem identification, through to final product or delivered solution. The team pride themselves on divergent & convergent thinking, taking previous experience, design and ideas and re-imagining the solution while considering manufacturing, cost and time factors.
Manufacturing
We pride ourselves on producing exemplary products by designing for manufacture and through the use of first-rate materials and finishing processes for the clients requirements.
We invest in a Planned Preventative Maintenance program and ensure that we carefully monitor our impact on the environment while remaining dependable and efficient. This is demonstrated through our ISO 14001:2015 certification.
Installation
Working to client requirements we can tailor our final solution whether that requires ex works or installation and sign off.
We work all over the UK and Ireland offering managed installations of products, both manufactured and sourced. Our multi disciplinary team are qualified to use plant and equipment required to complete the job efficiently, safely and on time.
Metal Forming
We offer onsite bending up to 3m and 170t with outsourced bending up to 12metres and 1000t. We also offer section and tube bending for specific project requirements.
Fabrication
We invest in quality fabrication equipment and invest in weld procedures such as BS EN ISO 15614. Our welders are coded to BS EN ISO 9606 in MAG Steel welding. By investing in our employees it allows them to develop and progress within the company, while also benefiting our customers and bolstering the overall quality of what we offer.
Continuous Improvement
We embarked upon obtaining three ISO Certifications concurrently. We now hold and are committed to improving our obligations towards ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:2015 in Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018 in Occupational Health and Safety.
